The various services are installed, controlled and administrated by means of the communications software of the unified communications specialist ANDTEK. With this software companies can run all relevant services of a modern attendant console and administrate the environment centrally on an easy to use interface. For example an automatic fallback guaranteeing that calls will not be lost but are connected back to the attendant especially when same are transferred to busy phones.
The attendant console software “AND Desktop AC” is running under all current operating systems (Windows, Max OS X, Linux) and is highly scalable. Enterprises can start with just one attendant console and simply extend attendant console services worldwide at any time and as required.
The greatest benefit, however, is that the most varied formats of existing corporate directories can be integrated. Among other things the user can link Active Directory and LDAP, SQL databases, MS Exchange Server (contact information)
Upon calls the attendant can automatically search for the incoming caller in all corporate directories. This is done by entering only one search term and the software automatically searches through all available sources in the background.
