A Groom Wedding Speech is generally feared & dreaded. Preparation of the speech are usually procrastinated on until days before the Big Day. So what goes through the head of the groom? STEP1:
*Stand up straight & smile! (This will take you a long way & let everyone relax)
*Introduce yourself. (Many of the guests, especially on the brides side, will probably not have met you before)
*Welcome the guests and thank them for attending your wedding.
*Thank the attendants in the bridal party for their contribution to the wonderful wedding.
STEP2:
*Now is the time to let it all out & tell your wife how beautiful she looks & how happy you are right now.
*Give a brief history of your relationship story between you & your bride. For example, where you first met & so on. This may seem unimportant to you, but remember no one knows your story & everyone likes to hear this kind of thing. Your job here is, in effect, to introduce the yourself & your bride to those who don't really know you both all that well.

STEP3:
*Thank everyone who participated in making this day such a wonderful experience.
*You should have maid a list of everyone before... example: the pastor; the catering team etc...
*Thank your best man & the father of the bride for their speeches.
*Get other details to make note of whiling giving thanks to people from the brides parents as they would have done most of the organizing.
Be sure to prepare your speech & all it's content well ahead of time. This will allow time for plenty of practice, and revisions if necessary. Don't be embarrassed to use written notes or cue cards when delivering your speech & toast.
