The new business lounge was launched last month and has successfully attracted more local business and generated more business guests staying overnight. But it is adding value with little extra’s that makes staying away from home that bit nicer - and that’s where the toys for boys (and girls) idea began.
The George Hotel now has a list of free extra’s for residents to use in their rooms - including an X-box, magazines, DVD and book libraries and the optional use of a mountain bike if they want to explore and relax. This is in addition to the standard services expected of business users like express check out and company billing.
Going one stage further, as a Business Club guest, they will benefit from priority upgrades which include fluffy dressing gowns, mineral water and 24 hour room service.
