Cherry Creek Wellness Center (CCWC), a Denver-area provider of high quality wellness and therapeutic rehab services since 1999, has just announced its 2010 professional course schedule.
All courses will be taught by Pete Emerson, PT, MMTC, in his only Denver teaching appearances in 2010. Emerson, with over 25 years experience in manual therapy, is a highly sought-after teacher of manual therapy throughout the U.S., Korea, England, Scotland, and Switzerland. He was keynote speaker at the 1997 and 1999 OCPPP Conferences in England, and was a guest speaker at the 2000 APTA Conference.
Two tracks, one for Muscle Energy Techniques (METs) of the spine, and a new offering in High Velocity Low Amplitude (HVLA) spinal manipulation, will be open to
Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Chiropractors, MDs, DOs, Massage Therapists and Athletic Trainers and other professionals involved in physical rehabilitiation.
The course schedule is as follows:
MET INSTRUCTION
January 23–24 MET’s of the Lumbar-Pelvis-
February 6–7 MET’s of the Cervical Spine
March 6–7 MET’s of the Thoracic Spine and Ribs
May 1–2 MET’s of the Lumbar Spine Level II (pre-requisite Level I)
The cost for MET instruction is $295 per course.
HVLA SPINAL MANIPULATION INSTRUCTION
February 20–21 & March 20–21 Manipulation of the Lumbar-Pelvis-
April 17–18 & May 15–16 Manipulation of the Thoracic Region
September 18–19 & October 16–17 Manipulation of the Cervical Region
The cost for HVLA instruction is $590 per 2-weekend course (discounts available for multiple HVLA courses).
All courses will be held on weekends at the Cherry Creek location 425 S. Cherry St., Suite 640, Denver, CO 80246.
