Catch the Holiday Spirits Sponsors deliver gifts to Salvation Army
Houston, TX --BABC Members and Friends came out in force to sample the offerings of The Macallan and support the Salvation Army at Zin Restaurant on 10 Dec, 2009.
Macallan Brand Ambassador Eden Algie from Perth (that's Scotland, mate, not Australia) gave a very educational yet humorous presentation on the history of The Macallan and its various offerings. Holding the attention of 70 scotch drinking people is not an easy feat, especially as the tasting progresses. But Eden had the audience captivated and obedient I might add. Each place had four pre-poured glasses of scotch and not one person, gulped before being instructed.......well, maybe one...or two! You know who you were!
Admission to the event was an unwrapped child's toy to be donated to the Salvation Army. Attendees were generous as we collected five huge bags of quality toys.
