Boston Image Consultant Doris Klietmann and Evangelia Souris, of OPTIMUM International Center for Image Management appear on live interview on WCVB TV Channel 5 ABC Evening News Special Report about Tiger Wood's and the effect of his transgressions on his image.
From the interview:
Doris Klietmann, AICI FLC Executive Principal and Senior Partner of Optimum states the he "should explain what happened .... silence would allow the media and his fans to speculate ... he can protect his image by giving a firm account of what happened."
Evangelia Souris, AICI CIP, President and Founder of Optimum said "It is not whether Tiger Woods is a great golfer it is about his perfect image that has been his commodity and has brought him millions in endorsements ... a perfect image makes millions, a tainted image doesn't." She further stated that "it is all about what his brand is worth to his multi million endorsement contracts ... if his personal image and brand is a liability then his endorsement agreements will quickly disassociate from him."
As events have unfolded Tiger Woods was forced to provide a statement as a reactive response to the events that harmed his image. So far he has lost some of his endorsement contracts.
Klietmann and Souris predictions fruitioned into a dismal reality for Tiger Woods
