Dr. Anthony Galea M.D., philanthropist and renowned sports medicine doctor, is founder and medical director of The Institute of Sports Medicine Health & Wellness Centre, an internationally recognized sports medicine clinic in Toronto, Canada. He is an academic staff member of the University of Toronto and has lectured internationally on such topics as sports medicine, exercise, health and fitness. Dr. Galea has been a sports medicine doctor at the Olympic Games, is team physician for the Toronto Argonauts and a sports medicine consultant for numerous NFL players. Dr. Galea has a keen interest in biblical archaeology, is the father of seven children and lives in Oakville with his family and wife Nela.
Helena Gresik B.Sc. has actively participated in the field of fitness and nutrition for many years and has worked as a research scientist and consultant for over twenty years.
DR. TONY GALEA is an M.D. who specializes in sports medicine and exercise physiology. He is the physician who treats and is sought after by many of North America’s top Olympic and pro Athletes, including Carlos Delgado, Mark McKoy, Donovan Bailey and scores of others. He is currently the team physician for the Grey Cup Champion Toronto Argonauts. Dr. Galea is a member of the University of Toronto Department of Family Medicine faculty, and is Director of the Institute of Sports Medicine & Human Performance.
