New Latymer school, BDA Award winning project
Leading brick manufacturer, Ibstock, has once again swept the board in this year’s Brick Development Association (BDA) Brick Awards shortlist, with Ibstock projects accounting for over 50% of this year’s shortlist, more than any other brick manufacturer.
The prestigious awards recognise excellence in design and construction using brick and Ibstock has been shortlisted in an impressive 13 categories including, Best Commercial Building, Specialist Brickwork Contractor of the Year and the Sustainability Award, for 46 different projects.
“We enjoyed a fantastic result at last year’s awards and it’s great to see even more Ibstock projects recognised across the board this year,” comments Andrew Halstead Smith, Ibstock’s marketing manager. “We find it very rewarding and we are extremely pleased that the countries top specifiers and architects are using our bricks for the most celebrated projects across the country.”
