Dunes’ Back Bay Bistro To Offer Splashy New Year’s Festivities

Dec. 15, 2009 - PRLog -- If you are considering ushering in the New Year with a splash, the Back Bay Bistro at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort Newport may prove the ideal location.  The fun starts on Thursday, December 31 (New Year’s Eve) with lunch from the regular menu available from 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Two seatings will be available for dinner.  The first, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., offers a $45 per person, prix fixe menu (see attached).  The second, starting at 7:30 p.m., features a $65 per person, prix fixe dinner complete with Champagne toast, DJ and dancing.  
   The fun will continue on New Year’s Day with a brunch from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. followed by lunch from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.  Both buffets are priced at $21.95 per person.  On Saturday, Jan 2 and Sunday, Jan 3, weekend brunch will be served from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Prices are $21.95 Saturday and $27.95 Sunday.

The Dunes also is home to the Back Bay Bistro, the resort’s newly renovated onsite restaurant that overlooks the tranquil waters of Upper Newport Bay.  Situated adjacent to the Dunes’ six-lane boat launch, the restaurant offers casual upscale dining with such amenities as a retractable roof that spans a large al fresco dining area.  The resort also offers professional catering and event planning services for festive beach parties and for special events from 50 to 5000 guests.
