Saber secures homecoming festivities for Georgia Southern Greeks

Two years ago, SSI provided security coverage for four Greek associations and during this homecoming weekend, the coverage has grown to nine Greek associations.

The three day event went off without a hitch and full coverage was in place at many of the Georgia Southern Greek associations.  “There were two security officers working at each Greek association and one roving security supervisor for backup support. Each Greek association requested enough coverage to maintain crowd control while not interrupting the festivities. Safety is always the number one objective in all security events we manage,” said Rita Raines, Regional Manager of SSI.  Limiting risks, vulnerabilities and threats with professional presence is vital to harvesting a secure environment especially at events when excitement has tendencies to elevate security threats.  

As the homecoming events at Georgia Southern came to a successful end, SSI gained invaluable knowledge of events security that will be evaluated for learning purposes and will be documented for situational awareness and process improvements.  We are flexible in our security operations but we do not waver in providing quality services.
