The new tariff claims to undercut British Gas' Web saver 5 AND Ovo's New Energy plan by £21 and £14 respectively, to become the cheapest UK tariff so far this year.
nPower claims the new tariff has an average spend of only £907 - which is as near to the £900 barrier as we've seen so far and follows in the heels of the relaunch of British Gas's cheapest Web saver tariff.
Sign Online 17 aims to be at least 2% cheaper than nPower's own standard tariff, whereby Web saver 5 aims to be at least 6% cheaper than British Gas's own Standard tariff.
Customers must be aware that after they sign up for this new tariff there will be a cancellation charge of £20 per fuel if they decide to switch away from this tariff before April 2011.
