Recent research conducted by recipe sharing website Allrecipes.co.uk (www.allrecipes.co.uk)
The online recipe sharing phenomenon is being fuelled by consumers’ increasing familiarity with social networking sites such as Facebook. Allrecipes.co.uk has recognised this trend and enables its members to interact with each other in a variety of ways, including: following their favourite home-cooks, making online friends and connecting directly to receive regular updates on recipes, tweaks and photos.
The increasing popularity of the site may challenge Delia’s supremacy at this year’s Christmas dinner table with members of Allrecipes.co.uk flocking a host of favourite Christmas recipes. The top ranking Christmas recipes are:
1. Christmas Cake: http://allrecipes.co.uk/
2. Easy Cranberry Sauce: http://allrecipes.co.uk/
3. Shortbread Biscuits: http://allrecipes.co.uk/
4. Christmas Stolen: http://allrecipes.co.uk/
