Counterintuity to Host Social Media Seminar in Burbank

Dec. 14, 2009 - PRLog -- Timid about Twitter? Flustered by Facebook? Counterintuity, LCC, a Burbank-based full-service marketing company, will hold a fast-paced social media seminar that will help attendees learn the basics of social media marketing tools and how to use them to build business.

Founded in 2004, Counterintuity launched a social media division in 2008 that specializes in creating social marketing programs and assisting companies in connecting and building relationships with customers through calculated online interaction.

The 90-minute seminar will be offered on Thursday, January 21, 2010, at 9am and at 7pm in Burbank. Wochner and Amy Kramer, Counterintuity’s President and Marketing Whiz, will explain the fundamentals of social media and ways to engage customers. Both are recognized authorities on social media marketing and the use of free Internet technology to grow business.  

“Our research showed that many executives and business owners realize the importance of social media interchange, but have no idea how to get started,” said Kramer.  “We will demystify the fundamentals and terminology of social media and explain the distinctions between and best uses of Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Flickr, YouTube, e-mail newsletters and blogs.”  They will also share lessons from local companies who have successfully utilized social media to build customer relationships and grow sales.

The seminar will take place at the Holiday Inn Burbank Media Center and includes “Get Connected: A How-to Guide to Getting Started in Social Media Marketing”; immediate social-marketing networking opportunities that will help build your base; a step-by-step copy of the presentation, with notes; and light refreshments.  The cost is just $89.
