The hip hop group known as the Ashy L Bowz are back at it again. After the tremendous success of their last mixtape LP"Going Green^2: 808's & Smoke Breaks", which was picked up by HighTimes.com, the Barons of Bowdust return with their newest offering "Dry Humpin^2: Diary of a Ashy Band".
Just as "Going Green^2" had a central theme and a was inspired by Kanye West's platinum selling album "808's and Heartbreak", "Diary of a Ashy Band" is inspired by 90's RnB super group Jodeci. The reigning Underground Music Awards winners for Most Original Group exhibit why they are more than deserving of the title. As always the creativity of the L Bowz is unmatched by any other Hip Hop group and Lyrically they are at the top of their game.
Dry Humpin^2 puts the L Bowz songwriting versatility on full display. Consisting of original songs over industry beats, remixes to classic Jodeci songs as well as totally original music the LP takes us through the highs and lows that many of us have experienced in relationships. All in all the music is easy to relate to and a welcome breath of fresh air from the current monotony in hip hop.
