New Release of THE CLOSER Reconciles Cash and PayPal in Microsoft Dynamics GP

Dec. 11, 2009 - PRLog -- Ottawa, ON   Reporting-Central is pleased to announce the release of THE CLOSER v2.5 for the Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP system.

THE CLOSER reconciles and balances the General Ledger with the AP, AR, Accrued Purchases, Sales Order, Inventory, COGS, and Cash sub-ledgers along with PayPal account information, ensuring results that tie to the penny in Dynamics GP.  

THE CLOSER v2.5 introduces new features and added functionality that make reconciling and closing the books smoother, faster and more accurate than ever before:

•  New Reconciliation Tool - CASH:  THE CLOSER looks at the cash control account in the GL and compares it to the Checkbook ID(s) in Dynamics GP.  Any problem transactions will be immediately found and displayed by error code for analysis and resolution.

•  New Reconciliation Tool - PayPal:  GP users can now reconcile PayPal account information with the General Ledger.

•  Enhancements for Inventory Reconciliations:  includes Landed Costs, Variance Adjustments, Missing Set-Up Values and WIP Adjustments.

•  MS SQL Server:  Support for SQL 2000, SQL 2005 and SQL 2008.

THE CLOSER does more than just eliminate the manual reconciliation process of “ticking and tying” and taking “write-offs” for Dynamics GP users.  THE CLOSER identifies the problem entries, explains the cause of the problem and suggests the corrective actions that will bring balance to Dynamics GP.
