Dr. Land holds degrees from Notre Dame and Catholic University, and a Ph.D. in Child Development and Family Relations from Syracuse University. He has 50 years experience in the social service, mental health, and criminal justice fields as a therapist, supervisor, department head, teacher, consultant, newspaper columnist, and expert witness in Ohio, New York, Florida, and North Carolina. Dr. Land co-founded the South County Mental Health Center in Florida. He hails from Schenectady, New York, and currently lives in Florida with his wife of 48 years, Jeanette. Dr. Land is a parent and grandparent.
