(Napa, CA) Frida Kahlo Tequila and Red Hen Cantina restaurant join forces to donate toys for the children of Napa Emergency Women’s Services (NEWS) organization and share the giving spirit this Holiday Season. Frida Kahlo Tequila announced the date, December 21, 2009, for their exclusive holiday soiree to be held at the Red Hen Cantina in Napa, California. This charity-minded event will feature complimentary appetizers and from 5-7 P.M. and participants will receive an exclusive Frida Foundation Margarita upon donating a new unwrapped toy.
The “Frida Foundation” campaign was launched by Frida Kahlo Tequila to bring awareness to the fight against domestic violence. The NEWS organization is dedicated to providing a safe place and direct client services to women and children each year who are victims of domestic violence. The newly formed partnership between Frida Kahlo Tequila and the NEWS foundation will provide an on-going fundraising stream to support prevention of domestic violence through events that promote the cause.
With government funding for non-profit organizations being reduced all across California, the “Frida Foundation” campaign is proud to support NEWS and their outreach efforts by creating a new signature list of drinks and donating a portion of sale proceeds to the non-profit.
