Instructor Kinsy McVay needed help with his budding art students at De Zavala Elementary. After perusing a number of books and coming up empty, McVay enlisted the help of Stew, an ordinary horizotal line, to help create a book that shows his students just how fun, ingenious and spectacular a simple black line can be!

About the Author
Kinsy McVay grew up in Southwest Kansas and received his Fine Arts Degree from the University of Kansas. He and his wife, Tricia, also a schoolteacher, live in Fort Worth, Texas, with their two sons.
