ESD Safe Brushes from Aven Add Critical Electronics Protection

A low-tech, inexpensive hand tool is a safeguard against electrostatic discharge (ESD) during sensitive development or manufacturing operations. ESD Safe Brushes are a workbench and production line essential in the electronics, avionics and chemical industries.

    Nine brushes that minimize static charges are available from Aven, Inc. for work on circuit boards, surface mount components, scientific research and other delicate processes.

    The Michigan-based company features nine styles and sizes of brushes with conductive fibers and polypropylene black handles. Aven ESD Safe Brushes vary from 90mm to 220mm in overall length, with single row, multiple row and round (10mm diameter) brush head configurations. Handles or grips are ergonomically designed for comfort.
