Celebrating 40 years of success and expansion of Publishing in Europe

Glostrup/Denmark: New Era Publications International ApS - publisher of the works of author L. Ron Hubbard celebrated last weekend the 40th anniversary, showing a remarkable 600% increase in turn over in the last 3 years alone. 90 business professionals, suppliers, providers and distributors were toured through the state-of-the art print shop and the recently built additional warehouse with high density racks for 5000 pallets.

Despite economic crisis New Era decided to move from Copenhagen City to the suburb Glostrup building a 100% digital printing line and warehouse in 2006 from scratch. The new digital printing line allows to produce in 50 languages on-demand, whether it is 5 copies or 5,000 copies of all the different types of books, texts and booklets that are in the publishing lineup, either hardbound or soft cover, whether coiled or stapled, and allows to perform applications such as hot foil stamping, lamination, UV coating and embossing in-house.

Since 2007 New Era produced 5.2 Million books and publications representing 3,246 different titles, which would have been virtually impossible to produce and stock that many titles without digital equipment and on-demand printing capabilities.

Managing Director Zara Kotric underlined the importance of books and knowledge in her opening speech: “Books and publications have always been the vessel of knowledge throughout history - allowing man to reach a higher level of sophistication, refinement and civilization.”

New Era’s non-fiction publishing program is unique being focused to improve conditions in the troubled world of today. When looking past the advances in technology of the last century, unfortunately we don’t see a similar advancement in the humanities. Instead, we find that man is plagued by drugs and illiteracy, human rights abuses and declining moral standards not to mention the everyday difficulties people face in their personal lives and relationships.

Mrs. Kotric further stated: “The purpose for us as a publisher is to uplift our culture through publications of effective and practical solutions as originated by L. Ron Hubbard in his numerous writings and works.”

L. Ron Hubbard has been awarded three Guinness world records as the most published author of all times with 1,084 different titles, the most translated author with translations in a totality of 71 languages and the most audio book titles published from a single author with 185 audio books in all.
