DALLAS, TX – Dallas-based Orion Fans, a division of Knight Electronics and a leading manufacturer of standard and custom AC and DC fans, offers a comprehensive line of fan accessories. Orion’s fan accessories include steel wire and wire mesh finger guards, filter kits and plastic guards, fan cords and daisy chains, and 3-conductor and custom AC power cords.

•  Steel wire and wire mesh guards – Available for fan sizes ranging from 25mm to 254mm, the guards feature steel wire electroplated in nickel chrome, welded joints to withstand 220 lbs. of separation force, and meet UL/cUL standards (some sizes are available in black);

•  Plastic guards – Available for fans in sizes ranging from 40 to 172mm, the plastic guards feature PBT, UL94V-0 thermoplastics;

•  Filter kits – Available for fans ranging in size from 40 to 172mm fans, each filter kit contains an ABS UL94V-0 fan guard, as well as retainer and media in 30ppi or 45ppi;

•  Push-on guards – Available for 60, 80, 92, 120 and 172mm fans, the push-on guards require no additional hardware;

•  Fan cords and daisy chains – Available in 2-, 3-, 4-, 6-, and 9-head daisy chain versions, lead lengths range from 12 inches to 12 feet with or without 1-15P AC plug;

•  3-conductor and custom power cords – Shielded and unshielded, hospital-grade, two and three conductor fan cords with a variety of molded, European and/or NEMA AC plug options.
