Since the establishment Zabbix SIA was aiming to develop open source networking monitoring solution that could compete with commercial products and be affordable for all at the same time. The goal is achieved as already now Zabbix provide functionalities and performance of same and even higher level than most of commercial equivalents. Rapidly growing with great help of Zabbix community and strong contribution of partner companies it obtains new useful relevant features that make different enterprises around the globe choose it instead of commercial software due to maximal performance and minimal costs of use.
The 1.8 was developed with the idea to be able to cover needs of bigger companies with huge environment, and already now our customers are working on projects, where Zabbix will be integrated to monitor more than 100 000 hosts.
