Dubai, November 30, 2009 – Infinity TV entered a collaborative agreement with Dubai based Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST), to offer its students of “Media Sciences” hands-on experience, through projects and internships at its state-of-the-
Additionally, representatives from INFINITY TV will also offer regular courses at SZABIST on technologies and relevant field advancements as part of this non-commercial academic effort.
The two establishments inked a MoU earlier this week, outlining the details of the arrangement.
Operational since 2004, INFINITY TV a part of Abu Dhabi’s Pal Group is a leading family entertainment channel in the UAE that features movies, sitcoms and documentaries as well as musical, educational and sports programs as part of its wholesome bouquet. Besides featuring some of the most recent international movies and shows, Infinity TV maintains a healthy percentage of its very own local content production.

SZABIST is a fully Chartered Institution with campuses in Pakistan and the UAE. It is a registered member of several associations and federations including the International Association of Universities, Paris and Association of Commonwealth Universities, London. The arrangement will result in the formation of a Collaboration Management Committee ("CMC"), comprising of members from both establishments. The CMC will be responsible for the overall program management for the Joint Collaboration. The program benefits will be a part of the SZABIST Media Sciences program and will be offered students across all campuses.
The first batch of students is from SZABIST’s Karachi campus and is due to commence in December 2009.
