America has long been the leader in prosperity in the world. In fact, even as we are crawling out of this depression, we are still significantly more prosperous than the rest of the world. The fact of the matter is this, many Americans still have money. However, they are afraid to use it. This fear creates collapse. Hence, the most prosperous country in the world, with people who have money but are afraid to spend it, end in recession.
I have good news! I know how to save the economy! On Black Friday Americans surged to stores in droves to purchase discounted items for gifts or to use in their homes. Retailers reported strong Black Friday numbers, further solidifying my theory that American's have money, but are fearful to use it...unless they are getting a bargain.
My only concern with this mindset is that even though many of the purchases were good deals, and/or fun purchases, what value did they add to the purchaser's bottom line? Let me explain. If I bought a big screen T.V. for pennies on the dollar I have a nice medium to watch a football game, but it does not help my net-worth. All I have done is spent money without adding any value to net-worth.
I believe that they way to really save the economy is to spend our money on things that will stimulate growth and add value to our bottom line. Many Americans are not in danger of losing their homes and are looking for easy ways to increase their home's worth that is both functional and economical. Americans need spurn the economy on by purchasing something that is going to last a life time, add value to their homes, and will pay them back in the long run! Now that is a recovery!
What is the must-purchase to get America out of recession! Tile. Now bear with me. Tile add's value to a home, is long lasting, will almost pay for itself, and is virtually maintenance free. Statistics show that the two rooms in a home that people focus on the most is the kitchen and the bathroom. The first impression that a buyer will get is in the foyer. Tile makes good economic sense!
Investing in your home during these times helps stimulate the economy and add value that will reap rewards when the market turns. If you are going to invest in your home, invest in something that will reap the most dividends. Invest in Tile. President Obama wants us to spend, so spend wisely! Save America...buy tile.
