This is extremely noticeable by individuals who have small lungs like children but now can enjoy a level of comfort and safety.
The revolutionary science behind the Kapitol Reef snorkel, purposefully places calibrated resistance into the exhalation path of the snorkel. This introduces a small, therapeutic pressure to improve oxygen delivery and carbon dioxide removal from the bloodstream. It also counters the compressive weight of water on the chest wall, sparing inhalation muscles from fatigue, while maintaining more natural lung volumes.
The special design from Kapitol Reef allows for diving and swimming in rough waters while effectively removing any water that may have entered during an inhale. Also strategically designed is the ability to submerge under water while the inhalation passages stop water from filling the snorkel.
