HSMAI to Recognize Homewood Suites by Hilton with Multiple Honors in its Adrian Awards Competion

Dec. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- Homewood Suites by Hilton, the international brand of all-suite, residential-style hotels today announced that the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) will recognize the brand with three Gold, two Silver and three Bronze Adrian Awards in multiple categories for winning entries in the 53rd Annual Adrian Awards, the largest and most prestigious global travel industry marketing competition.  

HSMAI will honor the below entries during a black-tie gala in New York City on Feb. 1, 2010:

Gold Adrian Awards
•   Advertising Division / Consumer Magazine or Newspaper – 2009 Business Travel Campaign
•   Public Relations Division / Community Service – Duck River Documentary
•   Public Relations Division / Consumer Marketing Program – Simple Moments Promotion

Silver Adrian Awards
•   Public Relations Division / Consumer Marketing Program – Lewis the Duck Program
•   Public Relations Division / Feature Placement Television – Summer 2009 Satellite Media Tour

Bronze Adrian Awards
•   Public Relations Division / Re-Launch of Existing Product – Re-Launch of F&B Program
•   Advertising Division / Consumer Contest or Sweepstakes – Endless Summer Weekends Promotion
•   Web Marketing Division / e-Mail Series – Suite Selection 500 Points Promotion

This year’s Adrian Awards attracted nearly 1,100 entries from around the world, with entries judged by top executives from all sectors of the travel industry.  

In addition to celebrating award-winning work from Homewood Suites by Hilton, the Gala honors lifetime achievement and the “Top 25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Sales and Marketing.” All winning entries will be accessible in the Adrian Awards Winners Gallery online following the gala at www.adrianawards.com.

Launched in 1989, the Homewood Suites by Hilton brand today has more than 285 hotels and approximately 120 properties in the development pipeline.
