In essence, this means that ordinary people can make a real impact with their annual giving, despite the challenging times. GiveTEN allows you to save children, fight disease, rescue animals and help instill positive moral lessons -- all in one spot.
“GiveTEN provides an opportunity to benefit 10 groups at once,” explains Lori Naseef, provideInc Director. “We’ve designed it so that you can choose whatever path to giving that works for you--whether it’s donating $10, volunteering for 10 hours or providing 10 needed items.”
With the economy struggling, families overextended and the holidays upon us, this simple approach is catching on. Several supporters of GiveTEN have already held events championing the theme, collecting items and donations in denominations of 10 at family gatherings, holiday get-togethers and company parties.
“Charitable organizations are desperately in need this year,” says Naseef. “GiveTEN provides a great way for people to give, with minimal commitment. We’ll be handling the distribution of all donations. We’ll also collect the various items our partners are looking for, and help direct volunteers to appropriate service projects if they’re interested in a bigger commitment. It’s stress-free for our supporters.”
