Bubbles and Burgers
Austin, TX – When children are removed from their homes due to life-threatening abuse or neglect, a temporary home must be found for them until more permanent plans are made. Thanks to a local eatery, the worries are lessened, and thanks to local celebrities and sponsors, funding for the nonprofit business will, for one night be in the form of a silent auction.
The Hub, a classic all-American favorite spot for exceptional burgers, hot dogs, wings, milk shakes and unique comfort foods, is proud to host Bubbles and Burgers benefiting the Austin Children’s Shelter (ACS), an emergency shelter offering a safe haven for children who are removed from their homes due to life-threatening abuse or neglect. ACS goal is to reduce the emotional trauma suffered by child victims of abuse, violence and neglect, in a safe and loving place.
Organized by The Hub, is something this local business entrepreneur has wanted to do for some time. Sponsored by RARE Magazine, Chandon Champagne, La Marca Prosecco, Dos XX’s, Free In Austin, Aroma-Chic Cleaning, Austin Diners Club, Social Thinker, Green Tee Photo, Tiff’s Treats, Conrad Limousines, Print Addiction and Tryptic Designs.

Bubbles and Burgers is scheduled for Thursday, December 17 from 5:30-9 p.m. The public is welcome to purchase tickets in advance at The Hub for $20 or $25 at the door day of event (tickets are limited) for food, beverage, entertainment, and silent auction.
