This certification signifies a commitment to meeting and exceeding increasingly stringent industry requirements for spacecraft and related products to civil and military markets. Becoming AS9100 certified strengthens EPE’s competitive position and standardizes quality processes. AS9100 is published by the Society of Automotive Engineers, based on the ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard, and provides 80 additional requirements and 18 amplifications specific to aerospace business operations.
