Minnesota Vikings Vs Arizona Cardinals Sunday Night NFL battle on December 6.

Warner is still suffering concussion symptoms, and Leinart would be making just his second start since 2007. The Cardinals will need to make plays in the passing game, and Warner's status makes that a huge question mark.

Vikings Keys For Success:
1. Protect the ball. Adrian Peterson has six fumbles this year and has lost five. He fumbled twice against Chicago, and his mechanics continue to be an issue. Opposing defensive players know that Peterson is vulnerable to having the ball stripped. Peterson too often carries the ball in one arm away from his body when he's fighting for extra yards, and that makes it easier for defenders to poke the ball loose.

2. Contain Fitzgerald, Boldin. When the Vikings went on the road last year and beat Arizona 35-14, they held Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald in check. The star duo combined for 11 catches but just 86 yards and no touchdowns. If Warner isn't able to play, Arizona's receivers should have a tougher time making plays against a Vikings secondary that should be at full strength with Pro Bowl CB Antoine Winfield expected to return from a foot injury.

3. Stuff the run. The Vikings' defense has moved up to No. 2 against the run after getting gashed at times earlier this season. Part of the renewed success is because the Vikings have jumped out to big leads, forcing opponents to throw the ball. Arizona running backs Wells and Hightower form a potent threat in the backfield, so it's up to the Vikings to make sure they don't get going and allow the Cardinals to dictate time of possession.

Cardinals Keys For Success:
1. Block defensive end Jared Allen. Cardinals left tackle Mike Gandy is hobbled by a pelvic injury, and if he's unable to go, backup Jeremy Bridges would start. Allen will be trouble for either one to handle. The Vikings sacked Cardinals quarterbacks four times last year.

2. Run the ball successfully. The Cardinals need to slow the Vikings' pass rush, and a successful running game will keep Minnesota honest. The Cardinals have done a better job of running lately. They can't be one dimensional against Minnesota; if the Cardinals have to throw more than 40 times, they'll be in trouble.

3. Get the ball to Fitzgerald and Boldin. Neither receiver was much of a factor last week in Tennessee with Leinart starting. If Leinart starts again, he has to throw deep to Fitzgerald at least three or four times against the Vikings.
