TAC Worldwide, a wholly owned subsidiary of Radia Holdings Inc. awarded U.S. Army Contract for Engineering and Manufacturing Services

The U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) has awarded Technical Aid Corporation (TAC) one of 14 Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for engineering and manufacturing services. TARDEC is the nation’s laboratory for advanced military automotive technology. The five-year contract has a $430 million ceiling value to all awardees if all options are exercised.
Under the contract, TAC will use its innovation, prototyping, engineering and manufacturing expertise to assist TARDEC with its core focus areas, including system engineering, power and mobility, survivability, intelligent ground systems, vehicle electronics and architecture, force projection and software.

“Our longstanding commitment and success in the Transportation Industry, combined with our reputation as one of the world’s leading engineering staffing firms, were critical factors in being selected for this exciting opportunity," stated Jim Klauber President of TAC Worldwide.  “We look forward to supporting TARDEC on these vitally important projects. Our valued relationships with major defense suppliers like BAE, Oshkosh and General Dynamics has helped us evolve our strength in government services. We see this award as yet another important step in the continued growth of this sector of our TAC Worldwide business”.

The TAC Team has also assembled a group of preferred vendors to provide “niche” capabilities, with experience targeted toward the Army’s Ground Systems portfolio. Most of these firms have provided support to TARDEC and/or to either one of the Program Executive Offices (PEOs) co-located with the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armament Command (TACOM).
