On Monday, December 7th, Realty World in conjunction with First American Title Insurance, Entrust and Starker Services will hold the first in a series of state wide educational events covering subjects like "using a self directed IRA as a real estate investment vehicle, 1031 exchange strategies, expired listings profits for realtors, how to use social media for real estate marketing, foreclosure and REO business update, real estate business forecasts for 2010, and the upcoming changes in store for the short sale business due the unveiling of the new regulations from the Treasury Department to expedite short sales and limit exposure for home sellers".
Elizabeth Diaz de Villegas (regional franchise director for Realty World in Florida and broker or Realty World International Gateway in Miami), is enthusiastic about the launch of this new effort to provide leading edge tools and education to real estate professionals as the first phase of the deployment of the Realty World Florida Region Real Estate Academy which will eventually offer a curriculum including sales associate and broker licensing, continuing education and specialty certification classes.
Joe Robaina (director of franchise development with Realty World in Florida), added that thanks to the participation of nationally recognized trainers like Kim Dickey, these educational events will not just provide added value to real estate professionals affiliated with Realty World, but should also help all realtors and investors who attend by providing them with new strategies that could help move greater shares of investment portfolios back into real estate, helping stabilize the market with greater demand and therefore also providing more business opportunities for real estate professionals. He said " We believe that the key to not just surviving but finding success in real estate in 2010 and beyond will depend on the ability of real estate professionals to educate themselves, be willing to adapt and work hard to stay at the forefront of their market niche, and avoid the me too mentality. Success will go to the realtors and brokers that join with other avant-garde professionals and pool their resources to obtain greater market share and profitability by doing business more efficiently and utilizing unique approaches to marketing, customer service and sales."
The next event is planned to take place in Miami on January 11th of 2010, and later next year there will be events in Broward county, Orlando and Jacksonville among others.
