Windham, NH. The creators of the Gifted and Talented Society were granted an exclusive video interview with Mr. James Dahl, NASA engineer for the International Space Station.
Mr. Dahl has been working with NASA since 2000 and is the lead engineer on the guidance systems for the International Space Station. He began his career as a farm boy from South Dakota. Mr. Dahl explained. "I knew I didn't want to stay on the farm, so I went to college and studied aeronautic engineering."
The first in a series of interviews, Mr. Dahl took questions from an audience of adults as well as the third grade class at Windham, NH Center School. The goal of the interview series is to provide a firsthand account of this fascinating field of study. His inspiring interview provided encouragement and enrichment to the children and adults of the gifted population. "With hard work and dedication anything is possible." Christopher said.
The Gifted and Talented Society believes that providing learning experiences like these interviews will stimulate interests and motivate the gifted population to achieve in new areas they may have never imagined were possible.
The first interview in the series will be released on December 14, 2009. Please come back to visit the website at Gifted and Talented Society.com and check it out!
