Rocket Spanish
If you are anything like I was when I started looking for a Spanish language course to buy you may well be fed up of reading one- 'best thing since sliced bread' -review after another about the Spanish language course offered by Rocket languages.
In the end I decided that the only way I was going to get an honest and unpolished review of the course was to take advantage of the money back guarantee that Rocket languages offered and check out the course for myself, it just seemed like the logical thing to do!

Price and Value for Money
When comparing price, or rather value, you cannot do so without taking the quality of the product into consideration. At $99, Rocket Spanish, as a downloadable course, is extremely good value and a quality product that is impressive from the off although at the time of writing I do believe that the physical product price of $249 is quite steep but still good when compared with other physical products of similar quality.
Quality and Ease of Use
The program is quickly accessed through a membership screen. Once accessed the screen shots are very professional, well laid out and easy to understand. The opening screen offers a 4 minute 'take a tour' video that gives the user a comprehensive insight into the course and the other benefits offered by the program, these include a forum of fellow course users, over 3000 at time of writing, to bounce any questions you may have between, and to practice your Spanish with.
The course itself is extremely easy to use and is broken into two stages. Stage one, the smaller stage, deals with teaching survival Spanish, and stage two concentrates on improving your conversational skills in order to achieve a higher level of ability. The stages comprise of ten sections that are then split down further into a large number of smaller, more manageable, lessons. Primarily, the lessons focus on teaching conversational skills but grammar is also covered comprehensively and each lesson can be printed off as and when required.
In short, the quality of every part of this program is excellent and extremely easy to navigate making the experience enjoyable and stress free.
Speed of Learning
I'm not a firm believer in reviewing courses based upon the speed that they can teach Spanish as I believe the student is the main denominator in that factor. However, I will say that Rocket Spanish offers everything that a student will need to achieve a quick and accurate working knowledge of the Spanish language.
Course Flexibility
To be fair, any Spanish course that allows the student to dictate when he or she learns scores top marks for flexibility, Rocket Spanish is no exception.
Support
As with so many online programs nowadays, this course uses the 'frequently asked questions' or 'FAQ' method of dealing with program issues. However, they do provide a straight forward contact page which I have tested; the response time is within 24 hours which seems to be the industry standard and as such acceptable.
Results
I have seen, as I'm sure you have, the ads on the internet that claim you will be fluent in 8 weeks using Rocket Spanish. I am not going to dismiss that statement nor will I 'big it up'. What I will say however, is that everything is in this program to enable a student to reach a good level of conversational Spanish within eight weeks as long as the student applies him or herself.
If you do little work and expect to wake up after eight weeks and miraculously be able to speak Spanish fluently...you are looking for a Spanish course that doesn't exist...well not yet anyway!
Conclusion:
Rocket Spanish is an excellent course that offers superb quality at an affordable price, its popularity has sky rocketed ever since its release and the program designers claim to have sold 400,000 items which is a figure I wouldn't argue on. So, based on my findings and the fact that so many units have been sold, if I were asked which program to suggest for someone looking for a budget Spanish language course I would have no hesitation in giving Rocket Spanish a big 'thumbs up'!
