Coronado Brewing Company (CBC) served its highly rated micro-brewed boutique beers at the annual Capitol Hill Holiday Beer Tasting yesterday, inspiring America’s political leadership to continue the national health care bill debate.
CBC President, Rick Chapman, said the company’s all natural beers were the perfect tonic to get legislators in the right frame of mind.
“We were delighted to be invited to participate in the annual Capital Hill Holiday Beer Tasting event and believe that nothing frames the nation’s current health care debate better than beer.
“At CBC we believe that one pint of beer a day can truly keep the doctor at bay. Or at least it will put a smile on the face of lawmakers as they continue the debate,” Mr Chapman, added.
Three popular CBC beers were brought from the island brewery to the halls of government for congressional approval: ‘Red Devil’, ‘Islander IPA’ and ‘Orange Avenue Wit’. Islander IPA proved the most popular with both houses of congress, with congressmen and state representatives coming back for more flavorful suds.
Today, CBC will showcase its famed ‘Idiot IPA at the 13th annual Strong Ale Feast hosted Pizza Port Carlsbad, California
Mr Chapman, said: “Hopefully we can introduce ‘Idiot IPA’ to Capitol Hill in 2010.”
