thruSITES, one of London’s fastest growing web and social media development agencies, has this week rebranded as thrudigital, relaunching a new website and relocating to their new offices near King’s Cross.
The company was started in 2005, delivering simple brochure websites for local primary schools and small businesses, but has grown quickly and now serves a number of large companies and organisations, such as Sky, ITV, 10 Downing Street and the Church of England. The company’s service offering now extends to social media applications, online communities, email and search marketing, and social media monitoring systems.
Andrew Davies, Business Development Director of thrudigital, said “The time has come for our name to better reflect what we do. As thrudigital, we will still build brochure sites, but our competency stretches much further, with a focus on the valuable opportunities in social media. We are also developing some of our own products in-house, to better serve a wider base of customers, which is an exciting move for the company.”
The company is best known for its recent launch of the controversial HSBC Twitter reviews site HSBCreviews.com, a concept which has since been commissioned by ASOS.com as an open feedback and reviews site, as well as the successful launch of ITV’s FA Cup Twitter app. The company is also responsible for building 10 Downing Street’s Facebook application, which allows Facebook 's huge audience to keep in touch with the Government’s day-to-day activities.
