Hot sauce brand Encona’s latest online innovation, the chilli slider, is proving a big hit with visitors to its new website. The slider, which helps shoppers select the sauce from the Encona range that best suits their recipes or personal taste, is one of a number of new interactive features built into the site by Food and Drink online specialist Fat Media.
The digital marketing company, based in Lancaster, created the new interactive website to promote Encona’s new range of exotic sauces.
Fat Media Director John French is pleased with response to the interactive features of the new site. “The chilli slider is very popular with site visitors as it is a helpful shopping tool, but it also adds a bit of creativity and fun to the experience.”
The new website has also been fully search engine optimised and utilises social book-marking. The immediate results have been thousands of unique visits every month and growing traffic levels.
