The Story of Inle in the Galapagos

Dec. 4, 2009 - PRLog -- A young boy’s determination, along with some assistance from his new friends, helps him find the giant tortoises in the Galapagos.

Inle, an adventurous little boy, has heard that the tortoises in the Galapagos Islands are giant! So why is it that when he gets there and starts searching for these creatures, he can’t seem to find even just one? Something so large shouldn’t be able to hide that well…

Inle is determined to find these tortoises. With a few animal friends to aid him on his quest, he might be able to find them after all.

The Story of Inle in the Galapagos is told in a photo-journal style with pictures of very friendly wildlife against the backdrop of a pristine landscape. The author aims to introduce this “heaven on earth” in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin’s birthday.

Originally from Burma, Soe Soe Thwin currently resides in New Hampshire with her children, Setse and Inle, and a shaggy terrier named Indiana Bones. When she is not googling the next nook and cranny to explore, she attempts at her day job of working as a consultant statistician at Boston University.
