Fafco has been helping collect food for the Food Bank for two years and plans to continue for many more years. Last year at Thanksgiving, Fafco collected 137 pounds of non-perishable food, plus a turkey and financial donations. Says Dan Morrissey, Owner and President of Fafco Solar, on how he became interested in getting involved, "I listened to the three Chapin sisters sing at an Alliance of the Arts fundraiser a couple of years ago. I loved their music and have been a supporter of the Harry Chapin Food Bank ever since. It’s all good."
Fafco is accepting donations including all non-perishable food items including canned fruit and vegetables, peanut butter, rice, canned meat, cereal and pasta, now through the end of the year. If you'd like to donate, please visit Fafco Solar from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
