Ron Couillard teaches four classes at Autodesk University this year. Making the Grade! Grading Techniques Using AutoCAD Civil 3D covers basic grading functionality, and the “Hybrid” method of grading that combines different methods of grading to get the finished grade. Due to the popularity of this class, it is being offered in two separate sessions. In his third class, Tie a Grey-Striped Ribbon Round My New Map Tree: Exploring the Ribbon and Other New Functionality in AutoCAD Map3D 2010, Ron uses the new Ribbon feature to access the commands in AutoCAD Map 2010 along with other new 2010 features. His fourth class, Using AutoCAD Map 3D as an S.U.V. (Software Utility Vehicle): Utility Design in Map 3D 2010, instructs Utility and Telecommunications users on the usage of the Electric, Water, and Wastewater toolkits available to subscription customers in Map 3D 2010.
Isaac Harper delivers the class, Size Does Matter: Annotative Scale Feature in AutoCAD. Isaac teaches AutoCAD users how to adjust all of the annotative objects including Text, Mtext, Dimensions, Hatches, Tolerances, Multileaders, Leaders, Blocks, and Attributes with a mere click of a button.
Patrick Villella instructs four classes and begins with Green Your Design With Autodesk Ecotect and Revit. He demonstrates how teaming Revit models with Ecotect can lead to better sustainable design decisions. Patrick also discusses how firms can design in an environmentally responsible manner, without having to involve outside consultants. Due to overwhelming response, this class is offered twice. In his 3rd class, Autodesk® Revit® Modeling Techniques for Construction and 4D Analysis, Patrick shares tried-and-true methods to take a Revit design team model from the architect and transform it into a more detailed "constructable"
