NBM Entertainment Signs Up And Coming Triple Threat

Dec. 3, 2009 - PRLog -- NBM Entertainment has put together a stellar list of up and coming independent artists for its 2010 roster.  Behind each project is a person with a story and as fans get to know the music they will have the opportunity to get to know the artists.

NBM Entertainment presents Randy Dean aka "Tha Dean"...

Born Randy Dean in Little Rock, Arkansas, “Tha Dean” was an early casualty of his broken home leaving him as a young child to be raised by his grandmother who in spite of her best efforts was unable to keep Tha Dean from the allure of the streets.  He was drawn to gang life, violence and older women and by the time he was seventeen he was living with his twenty-one year old girlfriend and feeling on top of the world until she left him.  The disappointment of that failed relationship led to his involvement in a senseless crime and ultimately caused him to leave Arkansas for Iowa to try living with his mother.  

He was excited about his new life but his excitement quickly turned to bitter disappointment when shortly after his arrival in Iowa his mother was incarcerated for ten years.  Almost overnight Tha Dean was forced into the role of protector and provider to his younger brother in a town where he knew no one and that was enough to motivate him to find a legitimate way to earn a living.  Music quickly replaced street hustling as his means to make it and he immediately began looking for ways to grow his dream.  He poured his savings into getting things off the ground but when the day came that his money was gone and he still had not reached his goals he had to decide if he would continue pressing forward.  But Tha Dean had vowed not to leave his little brother stranded so he did press on until he found a record deal with  indie label Illyricum Entertainment.    At the label he honed his skills as a producer and engineer while working with the other artists on the label and preparing for the release of his own album, "The Dean of all Things” which he successfully sold independently.  Additionally, he has done over 350 live performances  and opened for some of Hip Hop’s household names such as Plies, OJ tha Juice Man and Rick Ross to name a few.  The Dean has also made a name for himself on the Des Moines music scene where his dirty south swagger has been in high demand.

Last month NBM Entertainment annuounced part of its strategic plan for the coming year kicking of with its first release on December 22, 2009 and is working closely with noted Publicist and Strategic Marketing Consultant, Nicole Murray, to develop initiatives that will propel the NBM Entertainment brand and the brands of each of its artists into greater marketshare.
