After the successful completion of MEP design for the first Tier 4 Data Center outside US, Blue Star D&E has been receiving a series data center projects since then (2007). The recent data center project outsourced to Blue Star D&E was for one of the largest colocation centers in Europe (A colocation center is a type of data centre where multiple customers locate their networks, servers, telecommunication devices etc.) The scope of work was to perform engineering calculations for their Mission Critical buildings.
This project was a 19,000 m2 , 9 storey, state-of-the-
art data center, located adjacent to its two existing data centers in the heart of London,UK. Blue Star D&E’s client , a reputed M&E contractor in UK outsourced this project with an intent to not only take advantage of cost benefits but to also to achieve their challenging deadlines which was very critical for the end client.
