Boston’s The Gourmet Pizza in Irving has partnered with The American Heart Association and Custom Cornhole Connection to host its second Boards and Bags Tournament on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 1:00p.m. Boston’s will provide an event-filled day for players and restaurant guests with giveaways, door prizes, raffles, and plenty more.
The tournament will start at 1:00 p.m.. and last all day. There is a $20 registration fee for a 2-person team, or $10 registration fee for individuals. Entry fees are tax-deductible, as proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association.
Nancy Wolff, the Executive Director, of the Dallas Division, is proud to partner with Boston’s. “Having organizations such as Boston’s Pizza and Custom Cornhole Connection help the American Heart Association and Young at Heart in raising awareness about heart disease is very exciting. These organizations are truly helping to make a difference on this important issue,” she said.
Teams are encouraged to register early online at texascornhole.web.officelive.com. Same day registration will also be available prior to the tournament start, but only to those that have registered on the website. The top three teams will receive a cash prize, along with a Boston’s gift card. There will also be door prize drawings throughout the day, food and drink specials, and an appearance by Boston the Bulldog. Door prizes include two Dallas Mavericks ticket packages, shopping and dining gift cards and other specialty items.
