Owner, David Horton brings over 30 years knowledge and expertise in jewellery, antiques and art to these elegant premises, which he redesigned, in the heart of St. James’s, SW1. Designed by Thrale Jell and originally opened in 1909, the Arcade has retained its grand Edwardian style with ornate ceilings, feature balconies and the symmetry of the tall bow shop windows. Horton is a welcome addition to the Arcade’s unique blend of specialist shops and long-established luxury retailers.
Horton specialise in new and antique fine jewellery. A significant proportion of the jewellery is designed in house. Horton make bespoke pieces and offer a full design service including re-designing or re-modelling old jewellery. They have a workshop with highly skilled craftsman to translate any idea or design into a unique piece of jewellery. Horton has their own collection of engagement and wedding rings, and their latest creation launched to mark the opening of this boutique is the elegant Swan Ring set with two pear shaped diamonds.
