Ralph Bass from www.Living-Hope-Press.com has announced the publication of a new book on the history of baptism called "BAPTIDZO - A 500 Year Study in the Greek Word for Baptism."

This new book is a history of baptism.  The purpose of this book is to rewrite, condense, simplify, organize and make available the research done on the history of the word BAPTIDZO.  In doing this I found that the common understanding of the Greek word baptism –to dip – is fundamentally in error.  "BAPTIDZO - A 500 Year Study in the Greek Word for Baptism" carefully looks at the use of this word through a period of 500 years and in doing so reveals the real meaning of this word based on how the Greek world used it during this period.

We are very pleased to be able to bring this book to market.  Much is said about baptism that takes no account on how the Greek word Baptidzo has been used in the history and literature of the Greek world.  The information in this book will demonstrate the need to rethink many of these presuppositions.
