Skin has already begun to age by the age of 25. Sooner or later, this will become apparent in the form of wrinkles. With increasing age, the collagenase enzyme progressively reduces collagen levels in the deeper skin layers, which results in the loss of skin elasticity. De Clars — a new high-tech Swiss cosmetics company — has carried out extensive research into the solution of this problem, and has produced highly effective care products, together with renowned specialists in the field.
"Our goal was to develop a high-quality anti-ageing product, which delayed the reduction of collagen in the skin, and neutralised skin-damaging free radicals. We are the only company in the marketplace that has been successful in packing the highest concentration of active ingredients into the smallest molecules, so that they penetrate down to the third skin layer, the so-called dermis. This guarantees that they can develop their full effect", says managing director Dr. Nikolas Huber, a biologist and geneticist whose expertise was a key factor in the development of the De Clars cosmetics line.
De Clars is based on the medical knowledge of how substances react with one another, and how they affect the skin. According to a study carried out 46 female participants,87 % of respondents experienced a measurable reduction in wrinkles, and none experienced skin irritation.
The problem with all cosmetics with regard to anti-ageing is that the effective ingredients do not reach the lower skin layers, in order to "repair" things there. De Clars has now managed to remedy this.
The third skin layer (the dermis) contains tear-proof collagen fibres and elastic fibres. Furthermore, many blood and lymph vessels are woven into the dermis. The skin glands mainly lie within the dermis, and most of the skin's sensory receptors are also to be found in this layer. The so-called papillary dermis lies between the epidermis (outer skin layer) and the dermis, and is peg or wave-shaped. The many invaginations of the dermis into the lower layers of the epidermis create a strong mechanical link between the two layers, and a simplified delivery of nutrients to the epidermis.
This is why a truly effective anti-ageing product, which penetrates to the dermis, acts like love. Love makes for good skin. When we make love to each other, the heart pumps more oxygen through the body, and provides even the smallest areas of the body with oxygen, vitamins, and minerals. The skin becomes firm and rosy, and wrinkles disappear. Exactly like the care products from De Clars.
