The Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture will hold a fundraising event at the Dylan Thomas Centre on Thursday, 3 December at 7.30pm.
The annual arts event to raise awareness of this important charity features music and poetry from some of south Wales’ finest, including Simone Mansell Broome, The Women In Jazz All Stars Swing Band, Terry Clarke, The Steve Simmons Duo and Fiddlebox.
There will also be the opportunity to see some of our brightest up and coming talents, as young musicians from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama will also perform.

Meanwhile, the Dylan Thomas Centre’s experienced literature and curatorial team can offer a variety of talks and lectures to suit all requirements.
They can discuss aspects of Dylan’s life and works, contemporary literature, writing poetry, cultural tourism and much more. Where relevant an unique DVD presentation will form part of the package. All talks end with a question and answer session.
A Dylan Thomas expert could also be on hand to answer questions about the permanent ‘Dylan Thomas: Man and Myth’ exhibition.
