BEVERLY HILLS – Andrew Kirsh has merged his newly formed real estate and corporate law practice with Raines Law Group, where he has been named a partner in the firm, announced senior partner Andrew Raines.
Kirsh’s real estate transactional practice involves the representation of commercial real estate firms, homebuilders and investors in a wide range of matters including acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, workouts and finance. He also represents a broad spectrum of middle market companies structuring private placement of equity and debt securities.
Kirsh founded the Kirsh Legal Group, LLP in August 2009 after spending three years in the Century City office of Goodwin Procter. Previously, he was an associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins.
Kirsh, who has been recognized as a “Southern California Super Lawyer Rising Star” by Law & Politics and Los Angeles magazine in 2007, 2008 and 2009, received his B.A. from Northwestern University in 1997 and his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2000.
“By merging with Raines Law Group, I’m able to develop my own practice in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment that is proving to be extremely advantageous to my clients,” says Kirsh. “I’m now able to offer a full slate of top notch attorneys who possess real practical business savvy at rates that are in line with our clients’ expectations.”
“We started Raines Law Group in 2006 operating under a financial model more closely associated with successful business than with a typical law firm partnership,”
With the addition of Kirsh, Raines Law Group has grown from two attorneys to 15 in less than three years. “We have created a new paradigm for a law firm by combining experienced attorneys across a full spectrum of practice areas with the lower rates to our clients afforded by the efficiencies of technology and reduced overhead. The market has responded quite favorably” added Raines.
