Dec. 1, 2009 - PRLog -- The Lifespring! Why Christmas Show is a Christmas podcast produced by Steve Webb of Lifespring! Media and James Cooper from the whychristmas?com website. Everyday from December 1st until Christmas Day a new show is available on the show's website or you can subscribe and download it as a podcast. It is also available on iTunes. The show covers a range of Christmas topics from Christmas Trees and the history of Santa Claus to how Christmas is celebrated around the world and the real history behind The Christmas Story. There's also Christmas fun with learning how to say Merry Christmas in different languages and some terrible Christmas jokes!

To celebrate the show's return for a fourth year, it's running a Christmas Trivia competition where a lucky winner will receive a signed copy of the CD 'A NehoSoul Christmas' by Grammy Winning Recording Artist Bryan Duncan. The CD features a selection of Christmas Classics with Bryan's own wonderful twist on them as well as a couple of new Christmas songs. The winner will be be drawn out of Santa's hat on the Christmas Day edition of the show.

When asked how the show started James Cooper said "I've listened to Steve's shows from the early days and have always enjoyed them. In the summer of 2006 I emailed Steve and suggested we could do a Christmas show together. He loved the idea and it was born! It's great fun to do and is a real trans-atlantic project. Steve lives in California and I'm here in the UK. I think we've both learned about some customs that are special to our own countries. Having a competition this year makes it extra special. It's a great CD - I bought my own copy of it!"

Steve Webb is a new media expert and voice-over artist. James Cooper is a web designer and has run the whychristmas?com website since the year 2000 and it is now one of the largest Christmas information resources on the web.
