L.A. Gift Wrapping Expert Linda Summerlin A Finalist In Scotch Brand Most Gifted Wrapper Contest

Dec. 1, 2009 - PRLog -- Linda Summerlin, owner of Celebrity Wrap gift wrapping services in Los Angeles, author and video host, has been selected as one of eight finalists for the 13th annual Scotch Brand Most Gifted Wrapper contest to be held on December 4, 2009 at Rockefeller Center in New York City.

Miss Summerlin has wrapped thousands of gifts in the ten years she has offered her services, but this is one challenge that makes her nervous.  " I've seen the cooking, designing, and other contests on TV, and they are brutal.   However, just to be a finalist and share my own style of wrapping with the public is the most thrilling event of my career as a wrapper!"  

Linda  began wrapping as a small child, at one time attempting to wrap her grandfather's lit pipe!  Fortunately Grandma saw what was happening and emptied the pipe just in time.

Affectionately known as Queen Wrappa, Linda emphasizes the importance of customizing the wrapping to the gift recipient, whether it's a favorite color, a sport, or other  element of the recipient's personality.   She encourages her students to "think outside the bow", and use different elements to personalize packages, including battery operated lights!
